“Cheboygan is a small tourist town on the straights of Mackinac...it is small but charming and offers some good restaurants. This one, open for two weeks is especially unique. As you might suspect by the name the décor has a nautical theme. It is relatively small but is comfortable. The owners, definitely sophisticated boaters are delightful and they had obviously hired good people. Their chef, very talented had the time to come out and greet us and explain his specials for the night...Wine selection was carefully thought out and included an adequate pour. Prices for this excellent restaurant presented an excellent value also.”

“I had the Margherita flatbread, and it was amazing. It tasted like an upgrade pf Bruschetta which I’m a huge fan of. The plate was introduced professionally, and I felt I was on food network! The service was friendly and welcoming, as the atmosphere created a new spin on nautical theme. The design is flawless, and it made me feel I was on a yacht. I highly recommend the flatbread and a visit to The Nauti Inn!”

Our dining experience was wonderful even in the restaurant's first week of operation.
The experience began with the clean, bold, dark color palette of the setting, including an impressive bar that will soon be operational. The menu is ambitious, creative, and sophisticated. The meal portion sizes, thankfully, are not overwhelming. Service is friendly, and I got the message that they want you to have an outstanding dining experience. I will look forward to the very soon extension of hours to include dinner, and anticipate another great menu of choices.“

“Very reasonable prices for very pleasant high quality food and service. I had ordered the first mate and instantly fell in love. Everything was fresh. Melted cheese on a toasty crispy sourdough (not over done) bread. The atmosphere was awesome. Beautiful rope trim. And the service was excellent. Walked in and felt more than welcomed. Also it's more on the healthy all natural side as well, another thing that stood out was the self ground sea salt, whole bread, use of fresh basil that complimented my couscous.”

“We have been coming to Mullet Lake since the 1940's. We have been hearing about the Nauti Inn all summer and we made our first visit tonight. It exceeded all expectations. Terrific experience. Cheboygan is small town and we don't have a lot of "good cusine" to offer. We also have almost no "unusual food eateries".
Nauti Inn fills the void is a very big way.
Our group of 4 loved the place.
Full service bar (no sports TV thank goodness), very good wine list, good beer selection. Food is excellent. The "tapas (Spanish small plate) concept" is very interesting and enjoyable. It facilitates a slower more relaxing eating style and also allows you to taste many different house dishes. We went with two couples that had a need to spend some time reconnecting and we spent 3 hours over a wonderful eating experience.
Atmosphere is smallish but bar is large and eating area tables and chairs are very comfortable.
My spouse and I, and the other couple in our group, will go back in a heartbeat.
Price is very reasonable for the quality you get.
